X‑Flat Ties

X-Flat Ties are steel flat-bar form ties used in modular concrete form systems to secure and space form panels, ensuring consistent wall thickness and resisting lateral pressure from freshly placed concrete. These are designed for use with typical wedge-bolt or wedge-pin fastening systems in steel-ply or modular wall formwork.

They are inserted through form panels and secured with a wedge bolt; after concrete curing, they are broken or cut back flush with the wall surface.

• Ensures uniform predetermined wall thickness across formwork by spacing panels correctly.
• Standard break-back (after cure) can be ¼″ flush or close-to-flush, which helps minimize protrusion and surface finishing.
