Description
VersaSpeed LS100 is a single-component, cement-based repair mortar engineered to gain strength rapidly while offering extra working time, making it ideal for fast turnaround concrete repairs. It's designed for horizontal, form-and-pour concrete repairs. You just mix it with water (no other additives needed), apply it in sections from shallow to moderate depth (¼" to 6" or ~6 mm to 15 cm). After final set, repaired areas can be opened to standard tire traffic in about 5 hours. It looks similar to concrete, giving a consistent finish with adjoining surfaces. It’s a slower-setting variant of Euclid’s VersaSpeed 100, which allows more working time.
Features
Rapid strength gain with extended working time — you don't lose working time due to very quick set before you finish placement.
Interior or exterior use — so repairs can be done indoors or outdoors.
Traffic-ready quickly — areas can support light duty traffic or vehicle wheels in about 4–5 hours after final set at ~70°F (21 °C).
Micro-fiber reinforced — reduces shrinkage cracks and helps with toughness of the repair.
Shrinkage compensated — the formulation includes features to reduce shrinkage during curing, keeping the repair stable.
Integral corrosion inhibitor — helps protect embedded reinforcement from corrosion when repairing repaired reinforced concrete.
High build capability — can be placed neat up to 4 in (10 cm) thickness; for deeper patches (4-6 in / 10-15 cm), can be extended with clean pea gravel by up to 50 % by weight.
Applications
VersaSpeed LS100 is suited for many repair situations, including:
Repairing industrial, commercial, or institutional floors and pavements where fast opening to traffic is critical.
Repairing loading docks, bridge decks, ramps, highways, or parking decks/ramps.
Form-and-pour repairs of horizontal surfaces, where the substrate needs to match original concrete in appearance.
Repairs up to 6 in (15 cm) thickness when extended with aggregate; neat use up to 4 in (10 cm).
Specifications
Thickness range: ¼-in to 6-in (≈ 6 mm to 15 cm) depending on use; neat up to 4 in, with extension for deeper repair.
Working time: Slower-setting than the standard VersaSpeed 100, so you have more time to place and finish. Exact time depends on temperature.
Setting / Traffic Opening: Light duty traffic in about 4 hours; full tire traffic after ~5 hours at 70 °F (21 °C).
