Torginol Basalt Marble Flake – F9309

Basalt captures the cool grey and blue tones found in natural volcanic rock. Its neutral colour remains visually balanced under both bright and low ambient lighting, making it suitable for various residential and commercial environments.

Unlike standard solid-colour flakes, Basalt features subtle marble-style variations that add movement, depth, and natural character to the finished floor. It can be used independently or combined with other compatible Torginol flakes to create a customized flooring blend.

Application Instructions

Apply a compatible epoxy, polyaspartic, polyurethane, or other resinous base coat according to the coating manufacturer’s instructions.

While the base coat remains wet, broadcast the flakes evenly across the surface. For a full-broadcast finish, continue applying flakes until the wet coating is completely covered.

After the coating has cured, remove loose flakes and scrape or sand the surface as required. Apply a compatible clear topcoat to encapsulate the flakes and provide the finished wearing surface.

When using material from multiple production lots, intermix the flakes before application to help maintain consistent colour distribution.
