Description
The SikaFix® Kit is a complete injection-based repair system designed to permanently stop water infiltration in cracked concrete and masonry structures, including foundations, basement walls, pipe penetrations, static joints, and voids. It employs a hydrophobic two-component polyurethane grout that reacts on contact with moisture to create a tough, flexible foam that firmly bonds to crack walls, forming a durable, watertight seal. A built-in fast‑setting hydraulic plugging mortar and injection ports make the kit fully self‑contained and easy to use—no additional materials or specialized equipment required.
Features
All-in-one kit: Includes grout cartridge, hydraulic plugging mortar, injection T‑ports with plugs, and instructions.
Hydrophobic reaction: Grout activates with minimal moisture—no need to dry out cracks first.
Permanent waterproofing: Forms a zero-shrinkage, flexible, and lasting bond on both wet and dry surfaces.
Simple application: Economical and straightforward—suitable for professionals and skilled DIYers.
Durable and inert: Once cured, the material is chemically inert and non-hazardous.
Applications
The kit is intended for experienced professionals. Before injection, prepare cracks less than 6 mm wide by cutting a “V” notch (≥6 mm wide, ≥13 mm deep) and thoroughly cleaning out dust, laitance, grease, or loose material. Then, use the plugging mortar to seal entry points, allow 90–120 minutes to cure, install injection ports at 100–150 mm (4–6 in) intervals (or up to 200 mm/8 in for wider cracks), and inject the polyurethane grout from the lowest port upwards.
Cured grout fills voids, bonds to crack surfaces, and displaces water.
