The Heavy Stone Texture Mats & Touch-up Skins from Butterfield Color® are stamping tools used to imprint a realistic, rugged stone texture onto freshly placed concrete. They feature a feathered-edge design, allowing them to be overlapped and rotated seamlessly to avoid repetitive patterns. Tools are sized for different job areas: touch-up skins for edges and tight spots, and texture mats with handles for broader surface coverage. A recommended contractor set includes four 48″ × 48″ mats and one 18″ × 18″ touch-up skin, offering efficient coverage for larger areas.

• Feathered-edge design: Each mat’s edges are tapered to blend smoothly when overlapped or rotated, minimizing visible seams between sections.
• Flexible yet sturdy construction: Manufactured from quality urethane materials, these mats flex with the surface yet resist tearing under use.
• Handles on large mats: The 36″×36″ and 48″×48″ mats include handles for easier handling and precise alignment.
• Touch-up skin for finishing: The 18″×18″ mat, known as a touch-up skin, enables definition in corners, edges, and constrained spaces.
• Contractor-recommended set: For efficient coverage on larger pours, Butterfield Color advises four 48″×48″ mats plus one 18″×18″ touch-up skin per job zone.
