Gator Supersand G2 — Intelligent Polymeric Sand

Gator Supersand G2 is an advanced polymeric jointing sand composed of calibrated sand blended with “intelligent polymers.” These smart polymers help eliminate haze and dust, require no blower for cleanup, and only a single watering step to activate.

It is designed for traditional (dry-laid) installations of pavers or stone over a proper base. It can handle joint widths up to 2 inches (≈ 5 cm).

Available in two colors: Beige and Slate Grey.

• Rain-Safe in 15 Minutes after activation — quick curing once water is applied, so small rain events won’t cause damage or wash-out too soon.
• Wide Joint Compatibility — Works with joint widths from 1/8″ (≈ 3 mm) up to 2″ (≈ 5 cm).
• Safe Under Low Temperature — Can be used above 32°F (0 °C), enabling more flexibility in seasons.
• Durability — Helps resist weed growth, damage by insects, erosion from wind or rain, and damage from freeze-thaw cycles.

• Joint Widths: Minimum 1/8″ (3 mm); maximum 2″ (5 cm).
• Joint Depth: Minimum depth of 1½″ (38 mm).
• Coverage (per 50 lb / 22.7 kg bag):

For narrower joints (1/8″–3/8″ wide) with pavers ~2-3/8″ (6 cm) high: ~ 65-85 sq ft (≈ 6-7.9 m²) per bag.

For wider joints (3/4″–1-1/4″ wide): ~ 22-42 sq ft (≈ 2-3.9 m²) per bag.
