Gator Supersand Bond — Jointing Material

Gator Supersand Bond is a polymeric sand (jointing material) designed specifically for concrete paver joints up to 1 inch wide. It combines calibrated sand with polymer binders to form a jointing mix that installs very similarly to regular paver joint sand, except that after placement you wet it to activate the binding properties. Once cured, it locks firmly between joints, yet retains a degree of flexibility. It’s available in two colors: Beige and Slate Grey.

• Works in joints up to 1 inch (2.5 cm) wide.
• Rain safe after 1 hour of water activation—gives you a window before exposure to weather.

Good for both residential and commercial projects, including:

• Traditional (not overlay) installation of concrete pavers, wet cast products
• Works well in sloped areas and surfaces that need strong joint locking—areas with traffic, exposure to water, etc.
• Not recommended for use over asphalt or on overlay installations (concrete slabs) unless using a different product (they suggest “Gator Maxx” for overlays in USA).
• Use on surfaces like pool decks, patios, footpaths, driveways, parking spaces, and pavements

• Joint width range: Minimum 1⁄8″ (3 mm), maximum 1″ (25 mm)
• Minimum joint depth: 1½″ (38 mm)
• Setting time / cure: Sets in ~1 hour once water activated (temperature must be above freezing, dry conditions)
• Colors available: Beige and Slate Grey

• Sold in 50 lb (22.7 kg) bags per color (Beige or Slate Grey)
• Bags are waterproof; packaging is designed to resist moisture during storage.
