1220-WHITE Pigmented Curing Compound

The 1220-WHITE is a water-borne, resin-based curing compound containing suspended white pigment, designed to form a protective membrane over freshly placed concrete. It supports full hydration of the cement by retaining at least 97% of the water present at the time of application for a minimum of seven days. The white pigment reflects the sun’s heat-producing rays, helping keep concrete surfaces cooler and reducing the risk of thermal cracking during the cure period.

This product is intended for exterior use on both horizontal and vertical concrete surfaces—such as driveways, walls, sidewalks, highways, runways, bridges and tunnels—especially where protection from solar heat is required.

• Contains SUSPENSOID® additive, which promotes pigment dispersion and prevents settlement of the white pigment in the container and during application.
• Excellent moisture retention: by retaining most of the originally present water, it ensures optimum cement hydration and stronger concrete.
• Excellent heat reflective properties: the white pigment reflects solar radiation, which helps reduce surface temperature build-up and prevents thermal cracking.
• Good sprayability: designed to be applied with conventional spray equipment, enabling even application over large or vertical surfaces.
• Easy cleanup: tools and equipment can be cleaned with water before the product dries; once dried, special solvents may be required.
• Complies with Canadian VOC regulations and is approved for use by relevant transportation authorities for concrete surfaces.

• Use on new‐placed concrete slabs such as sidewalks, driveways, floor slabs, walls, bridge decks, overpasses, and airport aprons where heat build-up or wind chills may negatively impact curing.
• Ideal for exterior projects where solar heat or wind may accelerate surface drying or promote thermal cracking.
• Suitable for use on both horizontal and vertical surfaces, immediately after surface water recedes (horizontal) or upon form removal (vertical).
• Not recommended for surfaces where subsequent coatings, tile, waterproofing, or treatments will be applied unless confirmed compatible.
